How to Write Your First Blog Post
Thank you for coming to my first blog. As Nike says, “Just Do It”. I am like the captain on the Starship Enterprise about to discover worlds unknown. My back is tight, I feel a little lightheaded and I could just throw up and that is without pulling any g’s!
This all seems so permanent and to be honest, like giving birth (without the blood and slimy stuff) yet I will be totally exposed for anyone to see. My new baby’s name will be Paisley and Plaid (not twins) and I will love her, teach her new things and learn much more from her.
Probably, like most of you, we read blogs all the time, comment on them and save great ideas to our favorites, but now I would love someone else to read, comment and save some of my ideas. I want my first blog about everyday things like how I decorate my own home and yard, what we love to cook and eat, some great places we experience in our town along with all the funny things that just seem to follow my family everywhere we go and how we deal with it.
My family includes, my hubby, Jim (I call him Punkin), our daughter, Alexa (who will be getting married next year and still lives at home), our son, Andy (lives in Jacksonville with his girlfriend Paige) and our two chihuahuas, Jingle and Fern, and myself, Janet (I am an interior designer at a large furniture store in town) will be along for the ride….please connect your seatbelts and take all small children, hubbies and pups by the hand and paw…they are going to need it. Oh, and just in case, take along a barf bag…you never know.
Wow….I’m really doing this, my first blog, wish me luck and lets try to embellish some stuff (maybe we start with the barf bag).
