How to Build a Blogging Career

So you want to have a career in blogging

So you want to have a career in blogging

How do you build a blogging career?  Take a course and take it from someone that has a successful blogging career.  I happen to follow Karen Bertelsen’s blog, and have been for the past three years or so.  When you find a blog that you are interested in, follow it, comment on it and enjoy it often.  So many people will tune in to read a blog they love first thing in the morning with their cup of coffee according to Karen, and she is right, I know I do.  Its like a bit of caffeine for the soul.  Karen’s blog is like that and I would love mine to be that way as well.

If there is anything I have learned from my research about blogging is that there is a hell of a lot of research about blogging.  It really is mind blogging, boggling, googleing, struggling, whatever.   In a few years time I should learn it all and that is if there are no changes whatsoever and I do it fulltime!  Wow, that’s a lot of time.

If you want to blog, then dang it, do it, but find out how to do it right.  You can earn a living from having a successful blog or website but you need readers, readers and more readers.  Karen has an online class, which I took two weeks ago, and there is so much to learn.  Like the saying goes, the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know!  Well it is true.  However, Karen is so knowledgeable and has so many sources, which is where the money it costs to take the course really PAYS OFF!  You can bypass a lot of your costly time and just start following Karen’s links, etc.  You save time and money in the long run and get to the points YOU want to make on your blog.

Karen is funny and entertaining and you will soon be on your way with a roadmap of information, who to contact and links to follow.  She helps to unravel some of the mystery behind the social networks out there and how they can and will bring readership to your blog or website.  You will learn the importance of great photos and how to take them and where to go to learn to take them.  How you find your own niche and a voice for yourself, plus where do ideas come from and how do you turn those ideas into something readable and enjoyable.

Then there is the money.  At least there can be for those that want the blog or website to become their career and how that happens and again, links and sites to help yourself along the way.

Click on the ad I have on the lower right of the page The Art of Building a Blogging Career and you too can sign up and take Karen’s course.

Imagine…no…really imagine…(this is where that light fog floats into your room because you are imagining like I told you) a cup of really, really good coffee with peppermint mocha creamer, sun shining in your window, soft jazz music playing and you are wearing fuzzy Mickey Mouse slippers with polka dot knee highs, shorts and a dirty, but comfy (because its dirty), t-shirt and you are lazily typing your blog, downloading a few pictures and then you run to your mailbox at breakneck speed (because no one needs to see you in that getup…oh wait, I am imagining…so no one is there) to pick up your design magazines and then you check Google AdSense and Pay Pal to see how much money you made overnight from your successful blog!  Oh Goodie, enough to go buy that new couch, plus the pretty paisley and plaid pillows!

See (okay, come back to me) how it can be when blogging becomes a career?

You can thank me later…and thank Karen Bertelsen too because she really can show you how to build a blogging career.
